Thank you, Sal. As always, I appreciate your summary posts ^^

Anyways, a lot of good stuff shown off. Not necessarily stuff I personally was looking forward to, but that excitement and anticipation from other people is pretty tangible all the same. Can’t not like that, IMO :3

  • Six

Lots of good looking indie games on PS4. I personally wouldn’t consider any one on their own a system seller, but the list is getting too good to ignore.

  • Kenny ケニー

No love for Vita, thanks you Sony…

  • Impressionnant

    Thankyou, Sal.

  • MyBodyIsReady

    Too many Vita announcements

  • shogunknight

Great job Sal, thanks for the effort

  • Zackasaur

Dayumn, Sony hit GamesCom with a tonne of games. Seeing a list like this puts some perspective on the event.

  • 武神水樹

I don’t even know why Sony is releasing the PlayStation TV outside Japan

Anywho my two games from Gamescom were Bloodborne and Hellblade

    • MrFinalgamer

Most people play games in their TV. If anything, one should question why it took them THIS long.

    • Zackasaur

I think it’s pretty obvious. People want it, and Sony will sell more games and services through it. It’s also a compelling companion to the PS4 and Vita.

    • BlueCereal

Its probably going to be marketed as primarily a PS Now device.

      • 武神水樹

        that’d be horrible

      • Elle

As it should be. Vita is just a bullet point on the list of things it can do.

  • Digidyne017

Almost nothing for the vita, lets [not] hope for the best at TGS…

    • TheBlackRabbit

sony admits it’s a failure by not giving it attention.

    • Elle

As a Vita owner myself, don’t expect much after 2014 is over.

    • DividedSeraph

There is plenty of software on the way. NONE of which Sony showcased. “Let’s try nothing and see what happens!”

  • Hexodious

Nothing i’m interested in from the Playstation 4, so I guess i’m skipping Playstation 4 again.

Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, Below, Evolve and The Division (a little bit) were the only games and updates I was interested in.

Playstation Vita? Ahahahaha! TGS have that covered. I could care less what Sony does with it at this point, let Japan handle it and it’ll be fine.

    • TheBlackRabbit

D; quite the hard one to pls. what type of games are for you?

      • Hexodious

JRPGs, RPGs, turn-based dungeon crawlers, tactical RPGs, Stealth-only based games, platformers with RPG elements, 2D side-scrollers, and a quite few more I can’t really get out of my head right now.

Hard to please? I buy 4-5 games on multi-platforms each month, mind you.

        • TheBlackRabbit

oh god dungeon crawlers…you gotta have a special type of skin to take those guys. lol.
Not bad selection my friend +10 respect.

          • Hexodious

            What do you mean?

            • TheBlackRabbit

dungeon crawlers take a whole lot of patience and dedication to beat. i applaud you for being able to do that.

  • pixxxelz

Gamescon was fantastic lots of bombs were thrown left and right, (though not all if them were good) *cough*tombraider*cough.
    All in all
    Gamescon >>>>> E3

  • Infinity

Sony took home the cake this event. Had a ton of new ip’s to show, and some yet to release games to show off.

    Next up is TGS.

  • PrinceHeir

    Thanks for the summary!

  • z_merquise

So what’s that new Japanese IP that they’ll announce for Playstation consoles? I remember that being mentioned before the Sony conference.

    • Dick Mountainjoy

Probably Silent Hills, Remember Ground Zeroes/The Phantom Pain was announced as a new IP, OGRE.

  • z_merquise

The Bloodborne trailer and the nice reveal of Silent Hill is enough for me to make this a good event.

TGS seems to be the worst of the bunch nowadays but here’s hoping for a nice change in this year.

  • Willgaea

I’m pretty excited for Fantasy Life.

  • Dick Mountainjoy

The Tomorrow Children best game of show.

That Art, Music, the Idea of playing a truly Co-Op MMO Action-Adventure Game, the great studio behind it. What’s not to love?

  • Keegs79

Wild is my favorite announcement. I hope we hear more about it soon. Until Dawn looks great and Order 1886 keeps looking better and better. I somehow missed Goat Simulator was even coming to consoles. Well that is a great reason to have all announcements in one place :)
