EA and BioWare announce online RPG Shadow Realms for PC
A four-versus-one story-driven online action RPG.
Electronic Arts and BioWare announced Shadow Realms, a new four-versus-one story-driven online action RPG for PC, at Gamescom this morning.
The upcoming game is set in an always evolving world where modern day meets fantasy, and four heroes adventure against The Shadowlord, a player-controlled enemy, in dynamic four-versus-one co-op missions. The game’s overarching narrative will be released episodically and play out over time like a TV series.
Here’s the story synopsis:
In Shadow Realms, Modern Heroes on Earth are being awakened and recruited, because of magical powers they never knew they had, to fight in a new and dangerous war against the Shadow Legions of Embra. The Shadow Legions, who have been battling on Embra for years against the members of the Radiant Empires, have gained new strength with the coming of a powerful, unknown force that we call the Shadowlords. And, they have just figured out how to leave Embra and invade Earth.
