Kaiji: Steel Beam Crossing of Despair coming to Switch on December 28 in Japan
It's Kaiji VR, without the VR.Solid Sphere has announced Kaiji: Steel Beam Crossing of Despair for Nintendo Switch. It will launch via the Nintendo eShop on December 28 for 999 yen.
As its title implies, Kaiji: Steel Beam Crossing of Despair for Nintendo Switch is a Switch version of the August-released PlayStation VR title Kaiji VR: Steel Beam Crossing of Despair, sans the virtual reality. The game challenges players to cross a steel beam with characters like Kaiji, Sahara, and Ishida. Players can freely move the camera and observe a number of famous scenes that anyone who is a Kaiji fan should be able to recognize.
It should be noted that Kaiji: Steel Beam Crossing of Despair for Nintendo Switch only lists “handheld mode” under its play modes, which implies that it cannot be played in TV and tabletop modes.
