Kaiji VR: Steel Beam Crossing of Despair launches August 28 in Japan
Virtual reality Kaiji game gets a visual upgrade.Kaiji VR: Steel Beam Crossing of Despair will launch for PlayStation VR via the PlayStation Store in Japan on August 28 for 1,800 yen, developer Solid Sphere announced.
The virtual reality game is based on Nobuyuki Fukumoto’s Kaiji manga series, specifically an experience of the “steel beam crossing” story parts from the “Castle of Despair” arc. Players will become a contestant in the steel beam crossing, taking on the challenge with characters like Kaiji, Sahara, and Ishida. Famous scenes from the original work will also appear.
