Toshihiro Nagoshi teases “various developments” from Yakuza Studio

Nagoshi suggests more than just a new Yakuza on the way.

Yakuza Studio

Yakuza series general director and Yakuza Studio head Toshihiro Nagoshi shared a few words about what’s to come from the developer, the team within Sega behind the Yakuza series, in a post on his personal blog.

“Yakuza Studio has also reorganized, and from this year to next year we’re considering various developments,” Nagoshi said. “During that, I think that there will surely be developments that everyone expects. But personally, while putting my strength into new developments, I’d like to work hard enough so that you expect great things from me.”

Last month, Nagoshi confirmed that work is underway on the next Yakuza game, but given his comments, it appears Yakuza Studio may be working on multiple titles.
