Bandai Namco trademarks Tales of Berseria, Orfellia, and Alestia in Japan

Thus begins Bandai Namco's new title game.

Tales of Zestiria

Bandai Namco has filed three new Tales of series-related trademarks in Japan.

  • “Tales of Berseria” (2015-38505)
  • “Tales of Orfellia” (2015-38506)
  • “Tales of Alestia” (2015-38507)

Bandai Namco has a habit of trademarking a number of different Tales names before the announcement of a new game. Before Tales of Zestiria was announced, the company filed for 11 different trademarks. Two of them ended up being mobile games, while the others went unused.

It’s rumored Bandai Namco will announce a PlayStation 4 version of Tales of Zestiria at Tales of Festival on June 6 and 7, but perhaps we’ll get a glimpse at the next game, too?

Thanks, Tokkurin.
