I know Arcsys didn’t make a western branch for nothing. I hope they bring this one over.

    • Budgiecat

Unless there’s actual gameplay to it I highly doubt it.

But who knows? Hakuoki & Sweet Fuse for PSP managed to snake their way over here…

And for some strange bizarre goddamn reason…..Sentimental Graffiti visual novel for PS1 is on U.S. PS1 Classics for PSN …..in Japanese (wtf??)

  • I knew it was for PS3! Yes! Hope for an english version.

I guess you would know poor, since you are obviously too poor to afford one.

Stop replying to him. He’ll go away.

…..Oh wait, no he wont. He’s a god level troll. =.=

    • bloodiOS

Wow, really? Thank goodness! I’m still looking for the PS3 version of Gravity Rush, Persona 4 Golden, and Soul Sacrifice. You know where I can POSSIBLY find them?

      • jujubee88

        He’s touched in the head.

    • TheExile285

      Gravity Rush
      Killzone Merc
Ys Ceceta (story and gameplay aren’t carbon copies of the original.basically everything is new)
      Soul Sacrifice
      Mind – 0
      Demon Gaze
      Assassins Creed Liberation
      Ragnarok Odyssey
      WipeOut 2048
      Uncharted GA

  • I’m curious for this title. Wonder what genre it will be?

“Adventure” sounds like “Guilty Gear: Judgement” imo.

  • Raiyu

    Looks like a VN. :(

    • If it is this will probably be the first VN I own

    • iveriad

It probably won’t be a VN.
Look at the screenshot. The characters aren’t facing you. They faced each other.
It’s most likely going to be another fighting game.

      • Solomon_Kano

The article already says it’s an adventure game though. Japanese adventure game = VN.

        • Raiyu

Thinking about it, maybe it’ll play like the Zero Escape games? Those are ADVs too right?

          • Solomon_Kano

Indeed they are. It certainly could end up playing like those. I figure Arc is likely to add some kind of twist to the standard VN formula.

      • It could be a CG. Or cleverly placed sprite. I’ve seen VN tht does tht.

    • Solomon_Kano

Yep. They said it was a VN when they announced it at TGS last year.

  • Holy shat, importing! the girl in the purple <33333333333333333333333

  • so vita have another system seller in japan. what about us here .??

  • Eclipse

Whoa, I completely forgot about this.

I’m assuming this is a VN? If so, then I’ll go with the Vita version.

  • Tenshiken

It’s good to see more games coming to the Vita in japan, maybe games being on both PS3 and PS Vita will finally help migrate developers from the PSP.

  • yuina

Character designs look super generic. Meh.

    • fireemblembeast

As much as I’d usually like to disagree, I must admit that these really aren’t that great…oh well.

    • So the story doesn’t matter anymore?

      • yuina

Didn’t say that. But the characters are a huge part of the appeal in this genre, and ArcSys usually has great designs, so it’s disappointing to see them drop the ball like this.

  • Elvick

Bring it worldwide. D:< Yo, Aksys~

    • Solomon_Kano

Sadly, Arc’s new western branch may complicate that. They appeared between BB games so it remains to be seen if Aksys will continue handling the series or if they’ll have taken over already.

If Aksys is still on duty, I think we have a pretty good chance of seeing this (on Vita, anyway). If not, well, who can say? ASWest has yet to provide any kind of indication as to how they’ll operate.

  • fireemblembeast

Ah, I was waiting to hear more from this. I thought they’d forgotten about it. ^_^; hehe

  • What kind of game is it? Is it action, strategy, turn based, etc?

    • Solomon_Kano

      Adventure. As in visual novel.

      • Ah yes. The one I did not mention. Thank you.

  • z_merquise

I wonder of this is related to Blazblue or if this is a new IP from Arc Sys.

But personally, I really wanted a Blazblue action-game spin-off starring Hakumen.

  • Solomon_Kano

The appearance of ASW’s western branch has me wondering who’s handling BB as of now. If it’s still Aksys, then I’d count on at least the Vita version getting localized. If it’s ASWest… well, we’ll need to see what kind of projects they will and won’t chase before we can even hazard a guess at the chances on this one.

I really hope we see it though!

  • Has Arc System Works done anything other than fighting games? This could be the first for me….

    • Solomon_Kano

Yep. They did Hard Corps Uprising on PSN/XBLA.

  • Warboss Aohd

can……can it be? no Moe? PRAISE MORK!

  • Hatsuaki

Didn’t this game have something to do with Sugita? I remember Mori mentioning Xblaze during BlazBlue radio and saying he was collaborating with him,
