Nordic Games acquires Darksiders, Red Faction, more
And 505 games purchases Drawn to Life.THQ has announced the winning bidders for its legacy properties, including Darksiders and Red Faction, which went to auction in February.
Nordict Games Licensing AB, the Sweden-based publisher behind Deadfall Adventures and Arcania, scooped up most of the IP, including Darksiders, Red Faction, MX vs. ATV, “other owned software” like Destroy All Humans! and Summoner, and “other licensed software” like Marvel Super Hero Squad and Supreme Commander for $4.9 million.
As announced earlier, Borderlands developer Gearbox Software purchased Homeworld for $1.35 million.
And Sniper Elite publisher 505 Games purchased Drawn to Life and Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter for $0.3 million.
The transactions are expected to be finalized after May 13.
