Soul Sacrifice, Sony Japan’s new PlayStation Vita game from Keiji Inafune and Marvelous AQL, is set within the stories of a demon book.
The main character is a man raised by cruel sorcerer who keeps humans as slaves. As he is about to be offered as a sacrifice, the book appears before him, a record of past sorcerer and monster fights in its pages. The book allows our hero to enter its world and live out its stories.
Inside the book, you’ll take on monsters who were once human, but have lost their form due to their overuse of magic. The player, too, can lose his human form if use of magic isn’t properly balanced.
Players will be able to customize their character with various costumes.
Wataru Hokoyama, previoulsy announced to be composing the game alongside Yasunori Mitsuda, is heading up overseas recording, suggesting a localized version of the game is on the schedule.
Soul Sacrifice is currently 50 percent complete and is due this winter for PlayStation Vita. For more details, see our earlier post.
Thanks, Sokuho@Hokanko.
