Costume Quest ‘Grubbins on Ice’ DLC priced and dated

Double Fine has dated and priced the recently announced upcoming Costume Quest downloadable expansion, Grubbins on Ice.

Arriving on December 21, the content will be available on PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Marketplace for $4.99/400 Microsoft Points. The story follows twins Wren and Reynold as they enter a new area — Repugia — to save their friend Lucy after being sucked through a magic portal.

The content includes three new costumes, each with their own ability. The pirate costume can zipline down ropes; the eyeball costume can zoom in and out of the environment; and the yeti can shield the party in battle.

A new boss and new monsters are available for players to battle, as well as eight new battle stamps and eighteen new Creepy Treat cards to collect.

December 21 couldn’t come soon enough.
