That didn’t take long. After discovering the secret of the 2D barcodes in the recent Video Game Awards promo clips, which form the sentence “Murder Your Maker”, a teaser site for a new game from Activision has launched. The URL? MurderYourMaker.com, of course.
The teaser site certainly gives off the impression of a serial killer-type affair. Kotaku speculate that the game’s name is in fact Bloodhunt, which was rated by Australia’s Office of Film and Literature Classification last year.
Hrm. So we’ve got a new Resident Evil, a new Activision game, a new BioWare game, a new Sony game, a new game from THQ with Guillermo del Toro at its helm, a Batman: Arkham City reveal, and a rumored Saints Row 3 reveal, so far. Damn. That alone makes the show. But there’s still more to come.
The SpikeTV Video Game Awards air on December 11 at 8pm EST/5pm PST.
