Welcome to Doll Town is a psychological horror adventure set in the eerie, abandoned town of Ningyomachi. You play as Yumi, a young Japanese schoolgirl, who arrives in the town hoping to earn some money before starting college by working at a local convenience store. But what should have been a simple job quickly turns into a nightmarish ordeal when she discovers that the town’s inhabitants are not what they seem. Ningyomachi, once known for its thriving doll-making industry, is now a desolate place where lifelike dolls roam the streets, each harboring a dark secret.

As Yumi uncovers the town’s terrifying history, she finds herself trapped in a deadly game orchestrated by the cursed dolls. To survive, Yumi must navigate through haunting dollhouses, each themed after a particular doll’s tragic past. In these dollhouses, she must solve intricate puzzles, confront her deepest fears, and gather the seven cursed items needed to break the final doll’s curse—Aiko, the town’s most malevolent spirit.
