BitSummit Let’s Go!! will run from from July 14 to 16, 2023 at the Miyako Messe Exhibition Center in Kyoto, Japan. Its theme is “To the Future!” You will be able to watch it on YouTube and Twitch.

11:10 to 12:10 – BitSummit x CAMPFIRE Support Project! First Release! – Get ready to travel back in time with SUNSOFT Revival! Three classic titles from the ’80s—Madura’s Wings, Ripple Island, and The Five Famous Stages of the Tokaido—may soon be able to play on Switch and PC (Steam) with your support! The “SUNSOFT Revival Project” crowdfunding campaign at BitSummit Let’s Go! aims to bring these early ’80s games to modern platforms in honor of the 40th anniversary of the NES. Join us in celebrating the Showa period with these retro games and support the project to enjoy them on Switch and PC (Steam)! Featuring Yuichi Ochi (SUNSOFT), Keita Etou, and Takayuki Nakamura (BRAINSTORM).

Featured studios include Indie-us Games, Preferred Networks, Phoenix Game Productions, LLS, MONORYLLIS, and PICKLE’s. Featured speakers include Daigo Hyodo (lead game designer, Indie-us Games), Yuma Shinohara (game director, Indie-us Games), Takuya Satoo (development lead, Preferred Networks), Daniel Hedjazi (studio head and creative director, Phoenix Game Productions), Mono (programmer and director, MONORYLLIS), and Tatsuro Sawa (game programmer, PICKLE’s).
15:15 to 15:45 – Introducing New Titles from Shueisha Games – This summer, Shueisha Games’ makes even bigger moves! Development manager Masami Yamamoto introduces these new initiatives. With the develompent team of the new game, which will act as the first title, please look forward to all the new information you want to know. Featuring Masami Yamamoto (development manager, Shueisha Games) and John Davis (overseas promotion manager, Shueisha Games).
15:50 to 16:20 – Kakehashi Games 10th Anniversary Stage – Kakehashi Games, a publishing support team for overseas developers and publishers bringing their games to Japan, celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. While looking back on the past 10 years, Kakehashi Games will express its gratitude to the fans and make a “major announcement.” Featuring LayerQ (Kakehashi Games).
