Open-world action massively multiplayer online RPG ArcheAge Chronicles will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam on November 3 at 3:00 p.m. PT / 6:00 p.m. ET for $29.99, developer XLGAMES announced.
The Early Access release will feature three regions, four classes, and eight weapons (two for each class), as well as a “wide variety of content,” including exploration, dungeons, raids, player-versus-player, housing, crafting, trading, and company and guild activities. The full release will feature additional regions, gender options, a third weapon for each class, refined combat balance, character progression, and quality-of-life features, expanded life skills and community content, and more. The Early Access period is expected to last approximately nine to 12 months.
“We’d like to thank everyone who played the demo during [Steam Next Fest: October 2026 Edition] and took the time to share their feedback,” said XLGAMES executive producer Yongjin Ham in a press release. “We plan to continue incorporating your valuable feedback into regular updates throughout Early Access. Even beyond Early Access, we’re committed to staying connected with our players and continuing to improve the game together as we work toward its full potential.”

A Strong Showing at Steam Next Fest: October 2026 Edition
ArcheAge Chronicles ran a playable demo during Steam Next Fest: October 2026 Edition, which ran from October 19 to 26. When the festival closed, the game ranked fifth on Steam’s official Most Played Demos list.
Players had plenty to say. They praised the Unreal Engine 5 visuals and a combat system built on the interplay of offense and defense, with parries and cancels at its core. The player-versus-player drew positive reactions too. Many players saw real potential in the game and said they are looking forward to further improvements once Early Access begins.

On October 20, XLGAMES released a developer video laying out what is planned for Early Access: the scope of content, how player feedback will shape future updates, and the game’s pricing. The Early Access package is $29.99 in North America. Regional pricing varies in other markets.
