Onimusha: Way of the Sword demo now available for Switch 2 alongside new content
Two new trailers released.
Capcom has released a Switch 2 version of the demo for swordplay action game Onimusha: Way of the Sword, as well as an update that expands the demo with new brand-new content.
The demo first launched for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC back in June.
Here are the details, via Capcom:
The latest footage of Onimusha: Way of the Sword showcases a series of thrilling boss battles. The action includes the reveal of Ifuu and Burai, an electrifying duo that conjures wind and thunder, plus a sneak peek at protagonist Miyamoto Musashi in his duel with Dokyo, and the first glimpse of gameplay showing our hero in his fully awakened Oni form.
Players can prepare for these fights with the Onimusha: Way of the Sword Demo. Starting today on all platforms, the newly updated demo will add new elements, including a second quest exploring the Oni Refuge. This surreal stage features an early slice of the story where players are introduced to new gameplay mechanics and the towering boss Daidara.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store on September 4. A demo is available now for all platforms except Switch 2.
