Sonic the Hedgehog 35th birthday live stream set for June 23 [Update]

SEGA will host a Sonic the Hedgehog 35th birthday live stream on June 23 at 9:30 a.m. PT / 12:30 p.m. ET, the company announced. You will be able to watch it on YouTube and Twitch.

The broadcast will feature gameplay, activities, music, and more to celebrate 35 years of Sonic the Hedgehog. It will be hosted by Jacki Jing, GamesCage, and RogersBase, with guests Angelica Trae, DawnSR, Emerldd, Emzberry, Evan Stanley, Izzibell, JadenBombastic, KennieAdventure, Loveretro, MaeMaeTown, OkayLandy, SamProcrastinates, Smirky, Sonic_1992, and TreasureHuntingSonic. It will also double as a charity fundraiser supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Update: SEGA has added, “We know many of you are eager for future Sonic updates. We won’t be covering everything in this livestream, but we’re excited to hang out with you on the 23rd!”
