Unreal Engine 6 announced with Rocket League reveal

A "new era" of Rocket League is on the way.

Psyonix revealed a “new era” of free-to-play vehicular soccer game Rocket League at Rocket League Championship Series 2026: Paris Major, which showcased the game running on Unreal Engine 6.

The teaser trailer marks the first reveal of the successor to Unreal Engine 5, which first debuted during the launch of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series generation in 2020.

Rocket League is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC, Mac, and Linux.
