Publishers GRYPHLINE and Fireshine Games, and developer Hypergryph Network Technology have released the version 1.2 update for cooperative puzzle platformer POPUCOM, which adds a new story level, two new mini-games, and new outfits.
Here are the patch notes:
- New Content: Multiple Game Stages
- Added one Story Mode stage: “Fallen Laputa.”
- Added two mini-games: “Jump ‘n Shoot,” “POPUU-3.”
- Clear all Inner Ring stages to unlock the mini-game “Jump ‘n Shoot.”
- Clear “Fallen Laputa” to unlock the mini-game “POPUU-3.”
- New Content: Cosmetics and Collectibles
- Added outfits: “Swift Escort,” “Offroad Pioneer,” “Neon Streak.”
- Added some stickers that can be unlocked by playing the new stage “Fallen Laputa.”
- Other Fixes and Optimizations
- Added start confirmation for Online Story Mode: Once Player 1 selects a stage, Player 2 must confirm before the game can begin.
- Optimized mini-game display scaling and compatibility for various resolutions on PC.
- Fixed an issue where the main screen would display incorrectly under certain circumstances.
- Fixed an issue where the game would crash when changing outfits under certain circumstances.
- Fixed an issue where some stages could become unplayable under certain circumstances.
POPUCOM is available now for Switch and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. A PlayStation 5 version is also planned.
