Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault Early Access ‘Blob-Life Balance’ update now available
Meet your new Bloblet companions.
Publisher 11 bit studios and developer Digital Sun have released the “Blob-Life Balance” update for the Early Access version of roguelike action RPG sequel Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault, which adds the Bloblet companions system.
Here are the details:
Players can now encounter Bloblet companions out on their treasure runs. By completing specific tasks, you earn a new currency type that can be used to adopt these fashionable cuties—each sporting their own unique apparel—and once they settle in your cozy shop, a well-timed pet will provide a brief boost in relics value, received tips, and more.
Adding to the update, a Pet Seller can now be found among the new Vendors, and Will’s shop itself is now upgradeable to level 4 to make your business even more spacious. While you’re away chasing treasures in the dungeons, you can also get your hands on a bunch of new weapons and choose a new Poison path, where damage to enemies stacks higher the longer they’re poisoned.
Lastly, the boldest of players can brace themselves for a Very Hard difficulty level meant to challenge even the sturdiest of dungeon adventurers. Be warned—it’s not for the faint of blob—or heart, for that matter! A list of all Blob-Life Balance update contents, fixes, and balances can be found on the game’s Steam page.
With the Blob-Life update also comes the sixth Vault challenge, pushing forward the game’s narrative, and there’s plenty more on the horizon. The narrative conclusion and seventh challenge are coming with the 1.0 release later this year, alongside further shop improvements, a fully completed in-game Codex, and console versions.
Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is currently in Early Access for PC via Steam and Microsoft Store, and is planned for a full release across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC later in 2026.
