Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition launches May 28
Updated distribution schedule also adjusted.
Following a delay from its previously planned March 26 release date, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will now launch on May 28 for $54.99 / 7,590 yen, developer Dragami Games announced. Users who own the Switch version will be able to upgrade via an “Upgrade Pack” for $9.99 / 1,100 yen.
Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP first launched for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC via Steam on September 12, 2024, followed by PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on December 2, 2024. Total sales surpassed 300,000 units on August 12, 2025.
The title was originally scheduled for release on March 26, 2026. However, in addition to ongoing development for the Nintendo Switch 2 version, we have determined that significant revisions are also required for the currently available Nintendo Switch version. As a result, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the release to May 28, 2026.
Furthermore, the free additional costume “Burlesque Bunny,” which was planned for distribution on the same day as the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition release, will also have its release timing adjusted accordingly.
We sincerely apologize to all fans who have been looking forward to the release of the game and its updates.
■ Upcoming Update Schedule, Including “Burlesque Bunny”
The winning costumes from the Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP Costume Design Contest, held from September 2 to October 27 last year, were originally planned for sequential release following the implementation of “Burlesque Bunny.”
However, due to the postponement of the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, we will move forward with the release of later scheduled updates. This decision reflects our desire to deliver new content to our fans as early as possible.
The next update will introduce the second winning costume, “Die Hard Patriot.”
Featuring a striking bikini and hot pants inspired by the American flag, this bold and distinctive design brings a powerful visual impact to Juliet’s wardrobe.

Regarding the Nintendo Switch version, development resources are currently focused on the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. Therefore, we regret to inform you that the winning costumes will be implemented after the release of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. We appreciate your understanding.
Additionally, the upcoming winning costumes “Succubus Juliet” and “Kogal” are also in active development.
