Bleach: Rebirth of Souls ‘System Overview’ trailer, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War DLC characters announced

A full breakdown ahead of the game's March 21 release.

Publisher Bandai Namco and developer Tamsoft have released a six-minute trailer for fighting action game Bleach: Rebirth of Souls introducing the game’s systems.

The end of the trailer reveals that the Season Pass will include four new playable characters from Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, as well as one week of early access to each character.

Bleach: Rebirth of Souls fighting system revolves around a three-way deadlock of Attack, Breaker and Guard that players will have to exploit to find openings in their opponents’ defence. A careful mastery of distance and counters will also be key in this game. However, after receiving enough punishment, the Awakening state can turn the tide of the battle, unlocking new potential, better stats, and new actions, including a very devastating Kikon Move.
In Bleach: Rebirth of Souls Story Mode, players will be able to experience the journey of Ichigo Kurosaki from the Substitute Soul Reaper Arc, to the conclusion of the Arrancar Arc. In addition, the Secret Story mode delves into the main narrative from each character perspective offering a unique and deeper look through their eyes. Side episodes will also describe the daily life in between battles.
Moreover, the Battle Mode will let players test their skills against their friends offline or online with other players worldwide in intense action battles, while their abilities will be challenged in the Mission mode with predefined missions.

Bleach: Rebirth of Souls is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam on March 21.
