Short animated novel OneRoom: Yui Hanasaka Memorial announced for PC

Publisher Laplacian and developer Sakasauma have announced OneRoom: Yui Hanasaka Memorial, an animated novel game allowing players to reexperience the story of short anime series OneRoom‘s main heroine, Yui Hanasaka. It will launch for PC via Steam on January 11, 2025 for 500 yen with English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese language support, and features 15 to 20 minutes of total play time.
The staff of OneRoom have also reunited to launch the new project, “PROJECT OneLeaf.” A new animation studio, “STUDIO OneRoom,” has been established to produce a completely new anime that continues from the previous series, as well as produce original content under the concept of “creating together with fans” through new forms of announcements and user participation projects.

About the OneRoom Series
The OneRoom series is known for its subjective viewpoint, where the viewer themselves is the protagonist, and it features special days spent with the heroines.
The series is in an omnibus format and depicts the unique and intimate relationships between the protagonist and the heroines. The first season aired in 2017, the second in 2018, and the third in 2020.
With charming characters by popular illustrator Kantoku, stunning animation, a story more profound than one might expect from a short anime, and meticulous attention to fetishistic details, the series became a huge hit.
Yui Hanasaka’s Story
Yui Hanasaka is the only heroine to appear in all seasons of the OneRoom series.
In the first season, she moves to Tokyo for her university entrance exams and meets the protagonist (you), who is her neighbor in the same apartment. Their bond grows as they spend special days together, and they eventually fall in love.
In the second season, we follow their lives as university students and lovers. Though they argue and face insecurities, their relationship strengthens.
In the third season, the couple faces a major turning point as they transition into working adults.
In this game, you can revisit the story from the second season and experience the third season’s events.
