Bandai Namco trademarks ‘Battle Destiny’ in Japan [Update: United States]

Bandai Namco Entertainment filed a trademark for “Battle Destiny” on October 10 in Japan. The filing went public on October 21.

The company previously released a Mobile Suit Gundam game for PS Vita titled Mobile Suit Gundam SEED: Battle Destiny, which was developed by Artdink Corporation.

Back in May 2021, Bandai Namco Group announced “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Project Ignited,” an initiative to implement various Mobile Suit Gundam SEED series measures around the world, including a new game that was to be formally introduced at a later date. In the three-plus years that have passed, Bandai Namco has yet to officially announce the game.

Update 01/08/25: The “Battle Destiny” trademark was also filed by Bandai Namco Entertainment on January 7 in the United States.
