Carmen Sandiego reboot announced for PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC, iOS, and Android
Due out in Q1 2025.Gameloft, in cooperation with HarperCollins Productions and Netflix Games, have announced puzzle adventure game reboot Carmen Sandiego for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC (Steam), iOS, and Android. It will launch first for iOS and Android via Netflix in Q1 2025, followed by the other platforms including iOS and Android for non-Netflix subscribers later in the same quarter.
Carmen Sandiego will feature a story-driven campaign in which Carmen must use espionage and high-tech gadgets to defeat the evil VILE.
“It is such an honor to write a new chapter of the adventures of Carmen Sandiego and bring to life again this iconic, beloved character,” said Gameloft Brisbane studio manager Manea Castet in a press release. “We’re incredibly proud of what our team has achieved as we meticulously honored the franchise’s legacy, staying true to its core elements while introducing fresh, innovative features. Our goal was to create an experience that feels both nostalgically familiar and excitingly new and we can’t wait for longstanding fans and new players alike to dive in and see the love and effort we’ve invested in every detail.”
