SEGA trademarks ‘Yakuza Wars’ in Japan [Update]

The next Like a Dragon game?

SEGA filed a trademark for “Yakuza Wars” on July 26 in Japan, which was made public today.

While SEGA has yet to announce a game with this title or subtitle, it could be related to the upcoming Like a Dragon game. The Like a Dragon series was previously known as Yakuza in the west.

Update 09/09/24: A Facebook page and advertisements for Yakuza Wars have surfaced, confirming it to be a mobile strategy game developed and published by BBGame.
