Manuscript workshop simulation game Scriptorium: Master of Manuscripts announced for PC
Due out in 2025.Inkulinati developer Yaza Games has announced manuscript workshop simulation game Scriptorium: Master of Manuscripts. It will launch for PC via Steam in 2025, with other platforms to be announced.
Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:
About
Welcome! It’s time to start your very own medieval manuscript workshop—the Scriptorium.
Create amazing medieval illustrations! Fulfil orders from prestigious patrons by making your own designs on pages of medieval books. Create, get paid, and unlock new orders, design elements, and grow your workshop. And with time and practice, your works and fame may reach the Queen herself!
A colorful cast of clients will send you their requests. Some might want illustrations depicting grand battles between snails and dogs. Some might want more quaint scenes of peace, love, and the plague. And some might come with, how should we put it, *cough*, more bizarre requests. But it is not up to you to judge! Oh no! Your duty is to have fun as you’re fulfilling their wishes, your way.
And as your illustrations spread across the land and your workshop grows in both stature and fame, you will create artworks fit for the ages, acclaimed by Kings, celebrated by Bards, and adored by historians for centuries to come.
Create beautiful (or weird) medieval illustrations (or memes) and become the Queen’s favorite artist!
