Coinciding with Enotria‘s inclusion at Gamescom, developer Jyamma Games has released a new gameplay trailer, offering a fresh look at combat. To celebrate Gamescom, players can read more about the game’s lore and the inspirations that helped shape it.
A demo for Enotria will be available at Gamescom, so players attending the show can stop by the Jyamma Games booth in Hall 10.1 C080 to become the Mask of Change and harness the power of Ardore. The Gamescom demo is the latest build of the game ahead of its launch on September 18th. As the Mask of Change in Enotria, you’ll face the Authors, formidable foes that created the Canovaccio, a twisted eternal play that keeps the world in an unnatural stasis. Collect the masks of your defeated enemies to create customized builds and swap between three customizable loadouts on the fly. Take down the most challenging of enemies by weaving parries together and unleashing devastating riposte attacks.
Inspired heavily by the Etruscan civilization, Falesia Magna serves a role akin to that of the Roman Empire in the history of Enotria. This region pulls from Etruscan and Roman architecture, lore, and customs, and is a powerful ancient empire. Additionally, the Giangurgolo boss design blends elements of theatrical masks and mythical creatures, such as the Chimera of Arezzo, an iconic Etruscan bronze statue – both of which further enrich the cultural significance of Falesia Magna.
Enotria: The Last Song is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on September 19.
