Action real-time strategy game Battle Aces announced for PC

Uncapped Games has announced Battle Aces, an action real-time strategy game for PC (Steam) that aims to unlock the core fun of real-time strategy games for a wide audience easy-to-learn (and difficult-to-master) gameplay design. Closed beta test sign-ups are available now.
“The promise of real-time strategy has always centered on building and commanding a massive army, and controlling how it moves and fights across the map as you match strategic wits against an opponent,” said Uncapped Games senior director David Kim in a press release. “In Battle Aces, our aim is for players of all skill levels and experience with real-time strategy to experience that promise in every match. In fact, what we’ve seen in our testing so far is that players new to real-time strategy or less familiar with the genre have been able to learn Battle Aces and grow in skill more quickly than any real-time strategy our team has ever worked on before.”

In the year 2651, humanity has claimed the solar system, but it teeters on the brink of turmoil. Despite significant advancements, human expansion beyond the solar system is halted by the vastness of space. Now, a breakthrough in teleportation technology has revolutionized warfare, shifting from traditional manned combat to sophisticated drone-based conflicts. As a Battle Ace, you will fight across the solar system in fierce one-versus-one or two-versus-two matches. Strategize your unit composition before each match and unleash your tactical genius on enemies as you control your army directly from the battlefield. Anyone can start a war, but only a Battle Ace can win it.
A New Paradigm For Real-Time Strategy
This new generation for real-time strategy games allows players to customize their Unit Deck by deploying eight unique units with multiple tech tiers before each match, meaning the strategic depth starts even before your battles begin.
Battle Aces features multiple innovations in design that, when combined, helps focus on getting to the action in the fastest way possible! Automated resource gathering, preset expansions and instant unit spawning allows you to focus on the action-packed battles against your opponent. Incredible leaps in UI enable strategic choices in timing, as you determine what to do when you know your opponent is upgrading their tech or expanding with additional resource bases. This user interface is complemented with seamless control of vast large-scale armies, with just two global menus, making the game easy to learn, difficult to master—with infinite replayability!
