Palworld Early Access sales top one million in eight hours

Gotta tame 'em all.

Total sales for open-world survival crafting game Palworld have surpassed one million units just eight hours after its Early Access launch today, developer Pocketpair announced.

Palworld launched for Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store today at 12:00 a.m. PT / 3:00 a.m. ET / 17:00 JST. It is also available via Xbox Game Pass.

In an official FAQ, Pocketpair said that while it does not currently have plans for a PlayStation 5 version, it will consider it during the course of development.

Palworld is expected to remain in Early Access for at least one year. It is currently priced at $29.99, and may increase at or closer to the official release.
