Visual novel everlasting flowers will launch for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam on June 27, 2024 with English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese language support, developer sprite announced.
(Update 04/30/24: sprite has delayed everlasting flowers from its previously planned June 27 release date to August 29.)
In Japan, the standard edition will cost 6,980 yen at retail and 6,300 yen digitally. A physical limited edition will also be available for 11,980 yen, which includes a special box, two-disc original soundtrack, and the temporarily titled “everlasting flowers book” containing key animations, color illustrations, an original short story, and more. Physical editions pre-orders will open on January 25, 2024.
The game’s introduction text reads, “A wound in the heart. It’s easier to look away. But is that enough? everlasting flowers is a story of conflict and growth that depicts how Mina Sakashita and Ran Seino each face their lives. It is the first literary Filmic Novel. The girls are the main characters.”
