Samurai Shodown rollback netcode update delayed

Second community beta test to be held in October.

SNK has delayed the release of the rollback netcode update for Samurai Shodown from its previously planned September release window to an unannounced date. A second community beta test will be held for PC via Steam in October.

To ensure the Samurai Shodown rollback netcode update is of the utmost quality, we have decided to push back its release from the previously scheduled September 2023 window.
We are deeply sorry for this additional delay, as we know that many of you have been looking forward to these new features.
In line with the release date change—and our continued dedication to quality assurance—we plan to hold another Community Beta Test on Steam in October this year. More information about the test will be provided once available.
The new release window for rollback netcode will be announced in due course, pending the results of the above test.

Samurai Shodown is available now for Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. The Switch version will not receive the rollback netcode update.
