Ikumi Nakamura studio UNSEEN trademarks Kemuri and logos in Japan

Ikumi Nakamura-led studio UNSEEN filed three logo trademarks for “Kemuri,” as well as a fourth logo trademark for an icon on September 6 in Japan, which were made public today.

The word “kemuri” in Japanese translates to “smoke” in English.

UNSEEN was established in Tokyo in March 2022. Before founding the studio, Nakamura worked as an artist and director who contributed towards games such as Okami, Bayonetta, The Evil Within, and Ghostwire: Tokyo. The studio employs staff from a variety of different backgrounds, and is currently working on an unannounced new intellectual property.
