Ghandagoza will be playable in Granblue Fantasy: Relink, publisher Cygames and developer Cygames Osaka announced during today’s “Granblue Fantasy Showcase: Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising and Relink Part 1.”
“By the way, in addition to the characters we’ve revealed so far, there are a few crewmates we’ve yet to announce,” said Granblue Fantasy: Relink general director Tetsuya Fukuhara during the showcase.
Fukuhara continued, “Presenting the master of the Eternal Rage Style, Ghandagoza! As for his playstyle, he is, of course, a bare-knuckled brawler. He uses his overwhelming strength to beat his opponents to a pulp. This is his unique action, Raging Fist. He gathers power in the form of Eternal Rage by performing combos. The more rage he has, the more damage he’ll do with Raging Fist. In fact, a max level Raging Fist is enough to significantly damage a boss in a single blow. It’ll take some time to get used to his mechanics, but for players into the whole “epic master”-type fighter, I bet you’ll get hooked on him quick!”
Fukuhara also confirmed that, despite this being the 17th confirmed playable character, there are still more to come.
“And just to reiterate, this is not our last character announcement,” Fukuhara said. “We’ll reveal more details at a later date.”
Granblue Fantasy: Relink is due out for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam on February 1, 2024. Read more about the game here.
