■ Story
Rogue AI have bared their fangs on humanity. Four-Seven Security Service’s battle begins here.
In the near future, the latest space observation telescope discovers an enormous comet approaching the solar system. Its calculated trajectory is not in danger of colliding with Earth, but the effects its massive size would have on our planet and the sun are unfathomable. The damage caused by the resulting seismic, volcanic, and electromagnetic activity is catastrophic. In response, a large-scale evacuation plan is carried out. Residents, properties, and city functions in areas determined to be affected are almost all relocated to shelters and other regions. In place of its departed citizenry, unmanned AI defense robots called G-Mechs patrol the abandoned areas, effectively turning them into robot towns. The G-Mechs watch and defend the cities, expelling intruders, preventing robberies and accidents, and ensuring structural collapses and fires do not occur. They are to guard the cities until the comet passes and people can return to their homes.
Here enters Four-Seven Security Service. A security company that is dispatched to robot towns no longer inhabited by humans, Four-Seven Security Service provides a variety of defensive services, including crime prevention, building maintenance and repair, and the extinguishing of fires caused by volcanic eruptions. You are a new employee at the company.
A fellow part-time employee is showing you the ropes as you perform maintenance on a few security G-Mechs. Just then, a large earthquake rattles the area under the company’s jurisdiction. You receive word that the security G-Mechs in the area have gone rogue, perhaps as a result of the earthquake. You also learn the rogue G-Mechs are equipped with autonomous AI.
As a member of Four-Seven Security Service, it is now your job to address the situation. You take control of the unit provided by the company and set out to suppress the rogue G-Mechs. Jobs like this are a part of the daily routine for a security company, you think to yourself. Little do you know, however, this will turn out to be a battle that alters the fate of mankind…
■ Customization
Create the unit of your dreams. Freely adjust quantity, positioning, and angles with the Omega Customization System.
Unit parts are divided into three types: Key Parts, Offense Parts, and Accessories. Key Parts are the parts that form the foundation of a unit’s structure and performance, Offense Parts determine a unit’s offensive ability, and Accessories alter the unit’s appearance with little effect on its performance. Furthermore, Key Parts are divided into different types such as Head Sections and Leg Sections. Offense Parts are categorized by attack styles, such as Main Attack and Close Range Attack.
Once you choose a part, you can place it anywhere you like and at any angle. The number of items you can place may be determined by certain restrictions, such as weight limits for leg parts or quantity limits for individual part categories, but otherwise, you can place as many as you like. Additionally, you must have at least one Leg Section before you can head to your mission.
The parts you equip have a large effect on the unit’s parameters, like durability, movement speed, camera and boost performance. Collect many parts and try a wide variety of customization to construct the strongest units you can.
Parts come in three sizes. You can choose to keep them all the same size or to mix them up.
Parts come in three sizes: S-size, M-size, and L-size. Changing the size of a part will also change its performance. S-size parts have low durability but excellent mobility, whereas L-size parts have high durability but weak mobility. M-size parts are equally balanced.
Leg section parts have a huge effect on a unit’s mobility. Movement and operation speed will change depending on its size. If you want to feel the weight of a giant mech, L-size leg section parts are the way to go, whereas S-size parts are best if you want a more agile fighting experience.
With the Omega Customization System, you can freely utilize parts of different sizes. The custom design and performance options are endless!
Accessory parts come in sizes S through L as well. However, these parts can be enlarged and shrunk freely to customize your unit’s appearance to your heart’s desire.
