Open-world survival crafting game The Signal announced for console, PC
Due out first in Early Access.
Montreal-based developer Goose Byte has announced The Signal, an Unreal Engine 5-based open-world third-person survival crafting game in development for console and PC. It will launch first in Early Access for PC via Steam, with a full release across console and PC targeting no more than one year later.
The Signal is built upon three key pillars: exploration, invention, and survival. It also has a unique recipe sharing system and sustainability theme that aim to set it apart from other survival crafting games.
“We’re really excited about the world we’re building for The Signal,” said Goose Byte founder and CEO Theodor Diea in a press release. “We want to take players on a journey: as you step out onto this uncharted planet you are faced immediately with an environment that is as mysterious as it is beautiful. This planet is teeming with unknown flora and fauna across multiple, massive biomes. But not everything is as it seems. The planet is fully aware of your actions and, the longer you spend exploring, the more it starts interacting and messing with you.”
