Aniplex and TYPE-MOON will release Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon for PlayStation 4 and Switch in 2024 in the west, the companies announced at Anime Expo 2023.

During the Fate/Grand Order panel at Anime Expo 2023 that took place over July 4 weekend, Aniplex of America announced that TYPE-MOON’s reimagining of their classic visual novel Tsukihime, titled Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon, will receive a global release in 2024. The remake will feature upgraded graphics, a full voiceover, and a rewritten narrative by the original creator Kinoko Nasu.
Fans of TYPE-MOON will quickly recognize popular characters including Arcueid Brunestud, Ciel, Shiki Tohno, and others who have been featured in Melty Blood: Type Lumina the popular fighting game based on Tsukihime.
Tsukihime follows the story of Shiki Tohno, a high school student who begins to see “lines of death” after suffering an accident as a child. Following the death of his father, Shiki moves back home to live with his sister, Akiha Tohno, and begins to uncover dark truths lurking in his hometown. See the reimagined world of Tsukihime through Shiki’s eyes as he unravels mysterious killings and meets both fan-favorite and unexpected new characters.
