Arc System Works will release River City: Rival Showdown for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC on October 12 in Japan for 3,740 yen, the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu reveals.
River City: Rival Showdown first launched for 3DS on October 27, 2016 in Japan, followed by November 21, 2017 worldwide.
The updated release will feature an enhanced screen layout and controls. The bonus game Fighting of Double Dragon 2016, a 2D fighter that utilizes Kunio-kun systems, has also been upgraded to Fighting of Double Dragon 2023.
