IO Interactive opens new studio in Brighton

Core team already in place and will work on Project 007.

IO Interactive has announced the opening of a new studio in Brighton, United Kingdom.

The core team at IO Interactive Brighton is already in place and will work on the upcoming James Bond origin story game Project 007 alongside IO Interactive’s Copenhagen, Malmo, Barcelona, and Istanbul studios.

“We are extremely proud and excited to open our next studio in Brighton, where we see enormous potential to expand our incredible team and attract the very best talent from the exciting United Kingdom development scene,” IO Interactive CEO Hakan Abrak said in a press release. “We’re eager to expand our operations to new shores and believe that IOI Brighton is an extremely appealing destination for developers of all crafts.”

All five IO Interactive studios will make “significant contributions” to the development and publishing efforts of all games currently in development: Project 007, Project Fantasy, and HITMAN.
