Monster Hunter Rise was last reported to have surpassed total shipments and digital sales of 12.7 million units, while Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak had achieved 5.4 million units.
Monster Hunter Rise first launched for Switch on March 26, 2021, followed by PC via Steam on January 12, 2022. PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC (Microsoft Store) versions launched on January 20, 2023.
The Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak expansion launched for Switch and PC via Steam on June 30, 2022 worldwide. PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC versions launched on April 28, 2023.
