Low-poly school management game Let’s School will launch for PC via Steam on July 27, publisher PM Studios and developer Pathea Games announced. A new demo titled Let’s School Homeroom will today launch as part of Steam Next Fest, and save data can be carried over to the full game when it launches.
Here is an overview of the game, via PM Studios:
Jump on in and take the role of a school principal in charge of making sure your institution is the best of the best!
From a smaller development group within Pathea Games, responsible for My Time at Portia and the upcoming sequel My Time at Sandrock, comes Let’s School; bravely setting out to create a brand new experience for fans. Players will take on the role of a principal, returning to their alma mater after many years. Through their own efforts, the goal is to transform a dilapidated school building buried in tall grass back to the glory of its old days with classrooms full of students, vibrant and thriving.
As the principal, players can make the school grounds their own by renovating the campus, starting clubs, and creating the campus life of their dreams to replace the school experiences some of us may want to forget. And according to the developers, Let’s School provides a multitude of customization options. Maybe you want the school uniforms to reflect that of the characters from your favorite anime, or you want students to participate in certain extracurricular activities! All is possible within Let’s School.
Of course, as a simulation management game, the principal has free reign over the direction of the school’s development – whether the school becomes a rigorous elite academy or a more carefree and comprehensive school, it’s all up to you. If you are determined to maintain a good learning environment, you can choose to arrange various courses and use special measures to regulate students’ behavior. One example is for students who openly skip classes, you can dispatch teachers to catch them in the nearby town playing hooky!
As the game progresses, you can build dormitories, cafeterias, sports fields, and snack shops full of memories for the students, and you can even build “wonders” within the campus. As the name “Let’s School” suggests, players can unleash their wild imagination to create the most unique campus landscape in this zany and exciting indie game.
