Button City Soccer Days announced for consoles, PC

Subliminal has announced Button City Soccer Days, a soccer action RPG set shortly after the events of the original Button City. It will launch for unspecified consoles and PC via Steam in 2024.
“Newcomers and fans of the original can look forward to a variety of game modes including Story, Free Play, and Local Multiplayer,” said Subliminal co-founder Ryan Woodward in a press release. “This charming continuation is sure to delight first time visitors and everyone making their return to Button City.”

Soccer season quickly approaches, inspiring Fennel to gather his friends and build a cute, mighty team. Former rivals—the Fluff Squad and the Tuff Fluffs must band together to eliminate their competitors and win the championship. Corporate greedy fat cat Peppermint Pepperbottom returns once again to thwart Fennel and stop the gang’s fun by recruiting pro players from around the world to participate in the tournament.
