Alan Wake II launches in October, according to voice actor

"That's supposed to come out in October."

Alan Wake II will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Epic Games Store in October, according to Alan Wake voice actor Matthew Porretta in the latest episode of the Monsters, Madness, and Magic podcast.

The exchange is as follows:

One of my all-time favorite games is Alan Wake. So when it comes to your voice acting work, is that something that happened naturally through working, or is it something you made an effort to pursue?
Matthew Porretta, Alan Wake Voice Actor: “I’ve been working on it—that’s supposed to come out in October. We’re in the middle of working on it now. In fact I was just in Finland last week. That’s where the company’s from—Remedy—amazing people.”

Alan Wake II was announced at The Game Awards 2021 in December 2021, has only been officially confirmed for release in 2023.
