Famitsu Sales: 3/20/23 – 3/26/23 [Update]

Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of March 20, 2023 to March 26, 2023.

The Resident Evil 4 remake was the highest selling new release last week, opening at 89,662 copies sold on PlayStation 5 and 85,371 copies sold on PlayStation 4 for a launch week total of 175,033 retail copies sold.

Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key followed at 31,140 copies on Switch, 17,240 copies on PlayStation 4, and 14,787 copies on PlayStation 5 for an opening week total of 63,167 retail copies sold.

On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 53,781 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 38,964 units, the PlayStation 4 family sold 1,531 units, and the Xbox Series family sold 583 units.
