Turn-based roguelike RPG Darkest Dungeon II will leave Early Access and launch for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on May 8, developer Red Hook Studios announced.
Darkest Dungeon II first launched in Early Access on October 26, 2021.
A demo is available now via Steam as part of Steam Next Fest February 2023 Edition. It allows players to take the four starting heroes through one full region, and explore either Sprawl (city) or the Foetor (farms). No progression will be saved between expeditions in the demo.
The full game will feature 12 playable heroes, five full regions, five end bosses, and a metagame hub with “extensive” persistent upgrades.
