Netflix announces Gears of War live-action feature film, animated series

Netflix, in partnership with Gears of War series developer The Coalition, has announced plans to adapt the Gears of War video game saga into a live-action feature film, followed by an adult animated series, “with the potential for more stories to follow.”

Gears of War first launched for Xbox 360 on November 7, 2006—16 years ago today.
