Final Fantasy XVI exclusive to PS5 for at least six months
Exclusivity window revealed in new PlayStation 5 sizzle trailer.
Final Fantasy XVI will be available exclusively on PlayStation 5 for at least six months, according to a new PlayStation 5 sizzle trailer.
The game, which appears briefly during the sizzle, is accompanied by the text, “Final Fantasy XVI anticipated Summer 2023. PS5 exclusive for six months.”
It is unclear which additional platforms the game will be available on following this exclusivity period. The “Final” trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade also listed a PlayStation 5 exclusivity period of at least six months, but it only came to PC when that period ended.
Final Fantasy XVI is due out for PlayStation 5 in summer 2023.
