Bandai Namco trademarks Ultimate Ninja Storm CONNECTIONS in Europe [Update: Japan, Malaysia]

A new Naruto game from CyberConnect2 on the way?

Bandai Namco has filed a trademark for “Ultimate Ninja Storm CONNECTIONS” in Europe.

“Ultimate Ninja Storm” is the subtitle of Bandai Namco’s Naruto video games developed by CyberConnect2. The latest entry, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, launched for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam in February 2016, followed by Switch in April 2020.

The Ultimate Ninja Storm series has previously seen the release of two non-numbered titles—Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations in February 2012 and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution in September 2014.

A new Naruto game with the subtitle “Ultimate Ninja Storm CONNECTIONS” has yet to be announced.

Update 11/21/22 at 11:30 a.m.: Bandai Namco trademarked “Narutimate Storm CONNECTIONS” on November 14 in Japan, and “Ultimate Ninja Storm CONNECTIONS” on November 14 in Malaysia. Narutimate Storm is the Japanese title for the Ultimate Ninja Storm series.
