Bandai Namco trademarks Fires of Rubicon in Europe; Capcom trademarks Capcom Box in Japan [Update]
New trademarks from Japanese publishers.
Bandai Namco Entertainment filed a trademark for “Fires of Rubicon” on November 28 in Europe, which may be a subtitle for an unannounced game.
Capcom also filed a trademark for “Capcom Box” on November 18 in Japan, which was made public today.
The “Capcom Box” trademark was filed under Class 41. Capcom generally trademarks games under both Classes 9 and 41. Its only recent trademark to be filed solely under Class 41 is “Capcom Showcase.” That being said, this trademark could simply be for limited editions (such as Koei Tecmo‘s “Treasure Box” limited editions).
