Famitsu Sales: 10/17/22 – 10/23/22 [Update]

Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of October 17, 2022 to October 23, 2022.

Persona 5 Royal was the highest selling new release of the week, opening at 45,998 units on Switch and 5,051 units on PlayStation 5 for an opening week total of 51,049 retail sales.

Also new this week, Ultra Kaiju Monster Rancher for Switch opened at 24,069 retail sales.

On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 54,637 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 28,661 units, the Xbox Series family sold 4,158 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 13 units. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles continue to face stock issues.
