The remake of suspense visual novel Scar of the Doll will launch for Switch via Nintendo eShop on August 18 for 1,500 yen, Mista Stories and Mamekujira announced. It will only support Japanese.
Scar of the Doll was originally developed in RPG Maker 95 and released in 1998. The remake features Hiroyuki Oshima’s “Tobu Yume o Mienai” as the main theme song; remastered versions of the original background music; major additions to the latter half of the story, including a scenario told from the perspective of a sub-character; updated graphics, including characters and stills; and the option to turn on or off the game’s horror elements.
